WHAT IS SIX SIGMA ?
Six Sigma is a Business Management Strategy as well as a Quality and Process Excellence standard. If your organization or process(s) are upto Six Sigma standards, it effectively means that you are excellence and standardization driven and have a defect rate of less than 3.4 per million.
Six Sigma was developed by Motorola in 1981 and has now achieved global recognition and acceptance.

Six Sigma gained rapid acceptance in manufacturing, especially in mass production of consumer goods like cars, electronic appliances and the like. - Yellow Belt: 2 days of concept learning/ basic knowledge assimilation of process involved +assessment/ exam.
- Green Belt: 6 days of concept learning/ basic knowledge assimilation of process involved + half day of assessment/ exam.
- Black Belt: 15 days of concept learning/ basic knowledge assimilation of process involved +1 day assessment/ exam.
